Industry veterans, Silicon Valley scientists, and Nepali diaspora — united by one mission: to bring biotech home.
HIBH brings together the industry connections to build, the scientific expertise to validate, and the financial acumen to scale.
31-year veteran in Nepal's industrial and manufacturing sectors. ESG and sustainable development expert with deep expertise in Himalayan bio-resources, digital inventory systems, and community land relationships in Solukhumbu.
Primary relationship holder with ADB, government ministries, and Solukhumbu farming communities. The visionary behind HIBH's concept and the Everest–Deccan bio-economy model.
MS in Cell and Molecular Biology (Cal State East Bay). Currently NGS Research Associate at Signios Biosciences, Bay Area — specializing in nucleic acid extraction, protocol optimization, and analytical QC.
Leads HIBH's scientific strategy — extraction protocol development, quality standardization, pharma market access, and the Open Lab training programme. Returning to Nepal full-time to build and lead the science.
Financial structuring and investment documentation expert. Coordinates technical-financial alignment across HIBH's institutional partnerships — translating scientific extraction models into investor-ready financial projections.
Primary contact for ADB financial documentation, blended finance structuring, and capital raise coordination. Ensures HIBH's financial model is credible, transparent, and investor-ready.
Nepal gave me my roots. The USA gave me the tools. HIBH is how I bring them together.
I have spent years working in Silicon Valley's biotech industry — learning extraction science, protocol validation, and the molecular knowledge that turns plants into pharmaceutical ingredients. But that journey was always preparation, not destination.
I want to return to Nepal full-time — to lead the scientific development of HIBH, to train the next generation of Nepali biotech scientists, and to prove that diaspora return builds something Nepal can be proud of.
SHIBH is building a network of institutional, scientific, and financial partners. Partnership announcements will be made as agreements are formalised.
Scientists, investors, policy experts, or community partners — if you believe Nepal's bio-economy can be world-class, we want to hear from you.
