The Economic Thesis
Much of the scientific and economic value of Nepal's biodiversity is currently created elsewhere, after raw material leaves the country.
SHIBH's aim is to build the authentication, characterization, and standardization capacity that lets more of that value — and the knowledge behind it — be created in Nepal.

Traditional knowledge is respected and distinguished from experimentally validated evidence.
We do not make therapeutic claims about plants or compounds, and we avoid pseudoscientific wellness language.
